I've been blending essential oils since the early '80's. I started out making refresher oils for potpourri and then making natural perfumes. Blending oils for the relief of pain was a natural progression and the blends I offer for sale have been developed and used for the past 25 years. I am in no way suggesting that you use these blends in place of a Doctor's advice, but just as a topical pain reliever in addition to good medical care. All the blends are made fresh per order, so all will arrive at their best. All blends can be customized with regard to base oil. I usually use fractionated coconut oil as a base because it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue on the skin. Should you want to use the blend as a massage oil, I would substitute aloe vera, grapeseed or almond oil to keep it on the skin longer. If you really like Lavender, I could add a few drops to any compatible blend. My blends tend to run 20-30% essentials and can be cut with additional oil if desired. All the blends were developed from feedback from users over the years. Now that I am using several of the joint blends myself, I've gotten very specific on use. I have developed over 60 different blends, so if you want to try something that might not be posted for sale yet, send me an e-mail and I'll let you know what I have. Make sure to discontinue use of any oil blend should a rash develop. Stop application immediately if your skin starts to burn. Don't put a theraputic blend into hot bathwater. I did once...big mistake! |
